How can I volunteer to help in other ways?
Please contact us by using the contact us page found on our menu bar at the top of every page. We currently would like to find pilots who are willing to fly their planes that can tow a 90' x 30' banner in cities all across America on key selected dates. Also any companies that make banners that can donate materials or labor to reduce our costs. We would also like any developers out there that can create graphics in flash to make our site more appealing who can give some of their time and scripting to us. We also would like Meet-up groups to help us spread the word on forums, to their members and the press. We have a press release for you to use, contact us and we will gladly send it to you. And lastly if we can get large groups of people to gather together at the airports for the flight send offs this can help generate an interest in the "Revolution" as well.
How can I find out about scheduled flights?
We will very regularly be updating the "Flight Updates" page and every scheduled flight will be posted there as soon as it is scheduled. Also because of weather we will update flight time changes on that page as well. You can find the "Flight Updates" page link on our menu bar at the top of every page.
What are your plans for the national and local media?
We are emailing and calling all local news both print and television in every city we will be flying in prior to the flight date with a full press release. We have sent press releases to every major television news outlet in the US to inform them of The Ron Paul Air Corps and will continue to update them on our progress. The bigger we get the more interest they will take in our efforts.
As somebody considering buying advertising time with The Ron Paul Air Corps, I am concerned that if a plane or banner accidentally damages personal property, or causes loss of life or injury to a person, that I could be held partly liable for supporting this program? Ie. will I get sued?
No. The insurance is carried by the pilots for the planes. You are not liable.
Why Use Aerial Advertising? Wouldn't TV ads do better?
Television ad campaigns are very expensive. In order to run ads on a National Level and reach the largest audiences possible would literally cost millions of dollars. While this would be an ideal form of advertising it is not within our reach financially. Raising that kind of money would take much longer than we have time for and would require a staff of professionals that we currently do not have. Flying banners is a type of advertising that has proven results and costs a minimal amount for the impact that it can have. Why Use Aerial Advertising? Because it works! When a banner appears overhead, people instinctively gaze with curiosity - they don't change stations, or run to the kitchen for a snack! When was the last time you tried to NOT read a banner? There is nothing like an aerial sign. It's irresistible.
Can I ride in the plane?
Unfortunately, No. FAA Regulations and Insurance does not allow for it.
